Ir is refreshing fco fiud Ladies and Gentlemen who, in gratitude for fche relief brought them, either go to the trouble and expense of publishing the fact, or writing fco thir friends, telling fchem about the SCOTTIStf HIGHLAND OIL, or. in the spirit of true gratitude, visit the afflicted, and show fchem how fcheir agonies may be appeased and fcheir suff .rings alleviated. Already a Idng Hat o£ names have been enroll* d, and Ifc is my desire thafc all who hava been cured ahoul 1 send me their address, nofc for publication, but as a satisfaction to my own mind, and as a just tribute fco the Oils. I think there cannot be any fear of being accused of eaaggeration after reading tlu* testimonials published, acd those now appearing, to aay that in fche esperience of human knowledge there never has been an agent offered to the public which has so easily, painlessly, and pleasantly cured co many people regarded by our noble Faculty of medicine as incurable ; and it cannot now be Siid that professional men have been distance J by ordinury mortals. I glory in the fact that I belong, by birth and education to the professional class. I regret, however, thafc the cam mercial conditions of things renders it necessary that I should adopt a system of action afc variance with professional etiquette for fche aale of miy goods. lc i?, however, a great satisfaction to me that the grandest cures which could be accomplished anywhere have bean done in the very city and country where the discovery was made, and' I trust that as people get accustomed to the use of tlie Scottish Oil, we shall ccc hundreds and tbouaanda of suffering humanity rejoice again in fche vigor and strength ot regenerate i constitutions. Here follows the most extraordinary list of cures ever presented to the inhabitants bf these colonies: — FOTEEN YFARS A MARTYR TO HEADACHB. July 11, 1877. Dear Sir,— l 6 is impossible for any one to express his heartfelt gratitude for the relief I now erjoy from a terrible affliction, under which I existed for years. I can hardly now think of it but with horror. It must be a great satisfaction for you fco know fcbat your Oils can co quickly and painlessly cure. I shall certainly feel bound to tell the good news to all my friends. James Goodwin. £60 Spent, bdt oot No Relief. Testimonial. — Another testimonial respecting Potties Highland Oil has been received by the Agent, Mr C. L. Tweedie. It is as lollows;— Sir, for many years I bave suffered from rheumatism in the hack; and Borne time, ago it cost mo over £60 to go to Sydney and have medical advice, without, however, receiving any relief. I de^erhiiued to try a bottle of Highland Oil , for which you are agtnt, and have mu:h pleasure in statiag that after a few applications I was entirely relieved from all pain, and can salely recomnund it to others suffeting fram a similar complaint to mine. — John Mudie, Bombals. Lumbago for 26 Y_ah3. Rylsfcone, October 7, 1876. To Messrs. White & M'^ulloch, Rylstone. Gentlemen,— l have much pleasure in informing you, as Ageats for Potties Scottish Highland Oil, that the said medicine bas been the means of curing me from lumbago, from which I have suffered for the past 26 years, being at times scarcely able to crawl, owing to the severity of the complaint. I make this statement; feeling convinced that fche Oils (S.H.) will cure any one suffering in a like manner. I request that you will give publicity to the above, and remain yours very truly, — John McNeil Beaton. 102, Liverpiol-streefc, Sydney. Dear Sir,— l was hid up for many long months in bed. and bad tried- all the doctors could do for me, but got only worse. At last a man called with a little of Scottish Oil. I was then in bed, suffering terrible agony, with my legs bent under me. I saw. no hope for lie- but the flrai bottle of your Oil brought relief, and I could crawl about. I stuck to fche fomentation, Oil*, and hot iron, and in two months gofc the use of my limbs. I can never expect; to ba perfectly well, for I am an old man, but I owe all to the Scottish Highland Oil.— Arch M'Eldowny. Newtown. Twenty-three years bad with a tumour on my neck, and tried no end of prescriptions, until I saw that an operation was my only chance. Fortunately I heard about tha Scottish Oil, aud by rubbing regularly, the tumour melted away without auy kind of pain.— H; Cuasb, Newtown. From Sydney Freeman's Journal. MIRACULOUS. — A most miraculous cure has come under my notice in Araluen. A miner in this locality named Duggan had been complaining for years of a swelling on hia breast, which defied the roe Heal skill of the district. Dr Llewelyn, residing in Braidwood, ai'ter vainly experimenting with divers pan ace is, &c, advised tbe patient to go to the Sydney Infirmary After some time he did as he waa counselled, but what was the result ? Why, after remaining in fche hospital for about nine months un ; er the treatment of the leading medicos, he was pronounced incurable. He returned to Araluen worse in fact than when he went to S>dney, owing, 1 suppose fco fche vast quantities of medicine he had taken, coupled with the fatigue of such a long overland journey. Some months ago Mr Carry (Dr Llewellyn's servant) suggested to Mr Duargan fco rub the swelling with "Potties Highland Oil.' He did as wns suggested, and wonderful was the result. The swelling came to a head in a short time, and burst, discharging a quantity of matter. In one of these discharges a bone cams out, it being the sole cause ot the swelling, as can be testified by the man, whose health haa been perfectly restored. He is now able to work as usual in the claim. Now, the nut ior your Sydney M.D. 'a is, how came the bone there? My principal reison for writing this, is to inform those gentlemen who attended Mr Duggan at the Infirmary of the mysterious result. — Araluen Corresponds" t.
