MAILS CLOSE. Monday, October 15. _.or Piclon and Wellington—per s.s. Murray, at 7 p.m. For Motueka — per p.s. Lady Barkly at • 8 a.m. Tuesday, October 16. For Westport, Greymouth, and Hokitika — per p.s. Charles Edward, at 2 p.m. The next mail outwards via San Francisco will leave Nelson by s.s. Hawea, on Monday, the 22nd inst. The mail will be due in Londou on December 6th. The next mail outward via Suez (only specially addressed letters) will leave Nelson on or about the 19th. The mails will be due in London via Southampton on December 24th, and via Brindisi on December 17th. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
