The cutter Midge sailed for Waitapu last evening. The Murray sailed for Wellington this afteruoon. The Lyttelton will leave for Blenheim at noon on Monday. The Wallace arrived at' Wellington from Blenheim this morning. The cutter Maid of Italy sailed for Riwaka this morning. The Charles Edward arrived at Westport this morning, and will sail for Hokitika tonight. The Kennedy arrived at Westport last night and Greymouth this morning. She "will sail to-morrow for Nelson via Westport. The Taupo sailed for Northern Ports at 5.30 last evening, and arrived at Taranaki at 10.30 a.m. to-day. A cutter, supposed to be the Goldseeker from Havelock, was comingalong the Boulder Bank as we went to press. • The Zior was placed on the cradle this morning for the purpose of having some repairs done to her rudder. Messrs Freeman Brothers' schooner Nelson leaves Lyttelton for Wellington with a full cargo this evening. The Lily of the Wave arrived from Wangamoa last evening. She brings a very mired cargo, consisting of firewood, potatoes, butter, onions, and pigs, the latter forming a very large item. The Lady Barkly returned from Motueka at an early hour this morning. She was detained there in consequence of the passengers having to be taken off in boats to the steamer, which was compelled to anchor off on account of the tide. Tho Melrose is beginning to come up out -of the water, and now shows a fair side. She will probably be discharged at the latter end of this or the beginning of next week, when she will immediately commence taking in ballast, and sail for Newcastle.
