Appe-Tdix A. Abstract of report of the Works aud Finauce Committee, embodying the following recommendations:— 7 1. Thai Mr R. Malcolm be allowed £3, being at the rate of Is per mile, for travelling expenses incurred in inspecting tha Motupiko and Foxhill schools, and that Mr Dencker's travelling expenses, when inspecting the work at Dovedale, be repaid at the saqie pate, 2. That Mr M'Mawhinney's offer of £2 10s per annum for a fourteen years' lease of Nos. 56 aud 64, Black's Point, be accepted the first year's rent to he paid in advance. ' 3. That tha Ngatimoti Committee be authorised to proceed at once with the addition to the school. 4. Tbat tbe Oobden Cqramit.ee be requested to send plaus of the proposed addition' to the school and master's house at Brunnerton at a cost not to exceed £300. 5. That Mr Nicoll's offer for the Clifton school reserve be referred to Mr3 S. G. Robinson. 6. That the Board purchase, as a site for a girls' school in Toi Toi Valley, an acre and a half of land belonging to A. S. Collins, Esq., offered at 15s per foot, or in all about £180.
