Oct. 1, steamer Wallace, 64, Dillon, for Slenheini. Passeugers: Miss Cox, Miss lifcchell, Messrs Andrews, Brooks, Brown. — steamer Taranaki 327, Malcolm, for |ictou and South. Passengers: Mesdaines, tanning, Felton, Phillips, Solomon, Misses [ichoils and Fern, Messrs Nicholls. Mackay, laaon, Feltou, Kelly, Wratfcau, Gaukrodger, till, Juhanney, Brown, Young, Jay, and /apt. Moore.
The Ringarooma will probably leave the Bluff for Melbourne to-morrow. The Wallace sailed for Blenheim and Wellington this afternoon. The Kennedy will saii for West Coast ports this evening at 6 o'clock. The Zealandia with the San Francisco mail will be due at Auckland on Friday. The Arawata arrived at Melbourne from New Zealand yesterday. Two or three coasters, which have been detained by the late bad weather, will sail this evening. The Murray will arrive from Westport to-morrow evening, and sail for Wellington on Friday afternoon. The Charles Edward will leave for Hokitika via intermediate ports to-morrow morning, The Taupo left Wellington to-day, will arrive to-morrow morning, and sail for the North on the same tide. The Lady Barkly arrived from Motueka and Golden Bay this afternoon. She will make a trip to Motueka and back to-morrow, leaving here at 3 p.m. The ketch Pearl arrived from Wanganui yesterday afternoon, after a good passage from Wanganui, having left there on Monday at 4 p.m. She carried a northerly wiud behind her the whole way across. The Pearl brings a cargo of sheep. The schooner Nelson still maintains her prestige for making quick passages. She arrived at Lyttelton one day last week, after a run of 24 hours from Guard's Bank, where she had anchored for shelter. The Union Company's s.s. Taranaki, Captaia Malcolm, arrived in harbor early this morning. She lef t . Onehunga at 2.30 p.m. on Monday,' and reached New Plymouth afc 6 a.m. yesterday, landed passengers and cargo, aud proceeded on to Nelson at 10 a.m., arriving here at 3 a.m. to-day. Fine weather was experienced to Taranaki, then stroag N.W. winds with heavy sea and rain until arrival here as above. The Tarauaki sailed for Southern ports at 2.30 p.m.
