SAILED. Sept. 27, steamer Kennedy, 138, Palmer, for Wellington. Passengers: Airs M'Gavin and family, Messrs lilundell, Hill, Matthes, Jones, Samuel, Oiive, Jiirby, Stobo, Master Far quhar aud 2 others. — ketcb Lily of the Wave, 10, Emms, for Marahau. 2S, steamer Murray, 78, Conway, for West Coast. Passengers: Messrs Hoskiug, Heurv, Mulholland, Wilson, 3 Armed Constabulary, Mrs Bull, Mrs Shipp. The Lady Barkly returned from her usual trip to Uoldea Bay last evening. The schooner Sisters arrived from Motupipi tbis morning with a load of limestone. The cutter Maid of Italy arrived from Kiwaka thia afternoon with a cargo of produce. The Lyttelton left Wellington for Nelson Via Blenheim to-day at 11 o'clock. The-Murray left for Westport and Greymouth to-day at 1.30 p.m. The Wallace left Wanganui yesterday afc "midnight, and will arrive this evening. The Charles Edward arrived a^ Greytoouth from Hokitika to-day at 2 p.m. The shipping trade at Wellington is very •dull just now, all the wharves being entirely deserted. The Wanaka arrived at Wellington early this morning. She leaves there tor Lyttelton this afternoon. The Ringarooma leaves Wellington tonight, will arrive to-morrow morniug, aud sail again the same day for Melbourne. The Eichard and Mary came into harbor last evening, and was moored alongside the Government Wharf. She commenced discharging her cargo of rails tbis morning. The Taranaki arrived from Wellington at 10.30 a.m. to-day. She left the latter port at 2.30 yesterday afternoon, and arrived at Picton at 7.45 p.m.; sailed again at 1.30 this ■morning, came through the French Pass, aud arrived here as above. The Taranaki has been lyiug i a Wellington since Saturday, awaiting the arrival of the Hawea, which did not put ia au appearance until yesterday, having been detained at Port Chalmers for cargo. After transhipping her cargo and passengers into the Taranaki, the Hawea sailed for Auckland via the East Coast ports. The Taranaki leaves here to-nighi at 10 o'clock for Northern ports.
