The Murray left Greymouth via Westport to-day. She will arrive on Thursday, and sail for Wellington the same day. The Charles Edward arrived at Greymoutli from Hokitika at noon to day. She leaves for Nelson via Westport to-morrow forenoon. We were in error yesterday in stating that the Lord Ashley which was wrecked on Sunday between Melbourne and Newcastle arrived in New Zealand only twelve years ago. We have since learned that she reached the colony in 1858, she and the Lord Worsley being the pioneer boats of the Intercolonial Koyal Mail Company. The Worsley was lost near New Plymouth in 1862. The Suez mail arrived at Adelaide yesterday morning, six days in advance of its due date. It will probably be brought to New Zealand by the Arawata. The Claud Hamilton arrived at Hokitika yesterday afternoon, and was tendered during the night. She sail for Nelson this afternoon, aud is advertised to leave for the south to-morrow afternoon. . The cutter Midge sailed for Waitapu last evening with a general cargo. The Australian Maid sailed for Awaroa last evening. The Dauntless took her departure last evening for Torrent Bay for a load of stone. The Lady Barkly will sail on her periodical visit to Golden Bay at seven o'clock this eyening. The Awaroa must have carried the strong S.W. wind which she had behind her when she left here right across the Straits, for she arrived at Wanganui on Sunday morning, having accomplished the distance in 17 hours. The Richard and Mary arrived at Wellington from Waitapu yesterday with a load of timber. The Nelson left Lyttelton for the Pelorus Sound on Saturday morning. She loads there with timber for Lyttelton. The Waipara returned to the scene of the Wreck last evening. Should the weather keep fiue it is confidently expected that a large amount of cargo will be recovered, aud that the steamer will return full in the course of a few days. • A fore-and-aft schooner came up the bay this afternoon, and came to an anchor outBide the Boulder Bauk. We have been unable to ascertain her name. The Tararua arrived from Melbourne via Hobarton and Southern ports at 6.30 a.m. to-day, and as the tide did not admit of her then entering the harbor she came to au anchor, where she remained until ten o'clock, when she came into harbor. The Tararua left Melbourne on the 29th ultimo, called at Hobarton on the 31st, and reached the Bluff on the sth inst. Short stays were made at Port Chalmers aud Lytteltou, aud the steamer reached Wellington on Sunday morning. She left at 530 p.m. yesterday, jjnd immediately on getting outside the Heads experienced a nasty roll, which caused the steamer to jump about a good deal. The nearer the Tararua approached Nelson, the lesß did she toss about, and at 10 p.m. ceased to pitch at all, arriving here as above. After discharging aud shipping a few tous of cargo the Tararua was enabled to get away shortly after eleven o'clock for Melbourne via West Coast.
