MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
[Before J. Sclanders and 11. E. Curtis, Esqs., J.J.P.] Annie Lodge was charged with stealing an umbrella, the property of Thomas Bay'iss. Prisoner was dischargee'. Raine v. D. Burn.— Action to recover £17 1 6s (id, amount of dishonored bill of exchange. Mr Pitt, who appeared for the plaintiff, stated that £15 had been paid, and judgment was given for the balance with costs £3 10s. Lammas v. Carter.— Action to recover £o 8s for tools and iron work. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed and costs £2 17s. Kerr v. Membray.— Action to recover £10 3s 4d for meat supplied. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed and costs £2 7s.
