The Wallace being still detained at Greymouth by the state of the bar, her departure for Wanganui is postponed until Monday. The Kennedy left Wellington this morning, after having waited for the arrival of the Wakatipu from Syduey. She will arrive to-night, and sail for the Coast at 9 a.m. on Sunday. The Murray arrived at Westport at three o'clock this afternoon. The Lytteiton left Blenheim for Nelson yesterday afternoon. She will return to Blenheim to-morrow evening. T;he Charles Edward got up steam to-dav, when the machinery was found to work satisfactorily. She will sail for West Coast ports on Tuesday. The Taupo sailed for Northern Ports shortly after ten o'clock last night, and arrived at New Plymouth at 1 p.m. to-day. The Lady Barkly arrived from Golden Bay last evening. She will sail for Motueka at lOaon. to-morrow, and leave on the return trip at I p.m. The cutters Maid of Italy and Planet arrived from Riwaka and Motueka respectively la_t evening with cargoes of produce. The brig Emily was towed to sea by the Charles Edward this afternoon, and immediately on getting outside set sail for Newcastle. She has been beating against the sea-breeze all the afternoon with but very little result, for at four o'clock she was not very far away. The cutter which came down the Bay yesterday afternoon proved to be the Dauntless. She is from the Sandspit, and is more than half full of cargo, some of which was picked up on the beach, and the remainder floating about in the Bay. There is but a very small portion of the wreck visible now, the bow having been torn away. Tbe weather js reported as fine, which greatly facilitates diving operations. Every advantage is being taken of the weather by the Waipara, as it is probable that there will be but little of the wreck left after the first gale. The Ringarooma arrived from Melbourne and Southern Ports of New Zealand at 1-30 this morning. As it was then close upon high water, Captain Cross did not care about bringing her into harbor, and she had to come to au anchor, where she remained until 11-30, when she entered the harbor. The passage from Wellingtou to Nelson occupied a little over ten hours. As the night was very dark, Captain Whitburn gave the Island a wide berth, hence the cause of her losing the tide. The Ringarooma had on board a large batch of cargo, which was landed in good time, and a few tons shipped, and the steamer was enabled to get away at l\3o. She .will arrive in Wellington this evening.
