August 20. ihe Kusuan advanced guardis skirmishing in the vicinity of Rustchuk A Turkish official despatch says that a detachment from the garrison repulsed the Russians. The Turkish force has re-entered Dobrudscna, and the Russians are advancing agaiust them. A Russian official despatch admits that the Russian reconuaisance was repulsed at Osman Bazar. The Turks have carried the advanced Russian position at Batoum. London, August 19. The Queensland mail was delivered on the 1 4th, and the San Francisco on the 15th. Sailed— Chimborazo aud Durham. The competition at the opening of the wool sales is well maintained, and prices improve as the sales progress. The Home trade are operating vigorously. 30,000 bales have been sold. The wheat market is depressed and imports are increasing. There is fine harvest weather, Australian, 675; hew Zealand, 54s to 58s; New Zealand flax is dear.
