August 9, ketch Prospect, 21, Westrupp, from Waitapu. 10, brigantine Estelle, from Dunedin. SiILED. August 9, steamer Lady Barkly,3o, Walker, for Golden Bay.
_ The brigantine Estelle, from Dunedin, arrived to-day, for the purpose of taking in a cargo of kauri logs ex Albion. The Murray arrived at Greymouth this morning. She reports a heavy sea ou the bar. She will leave for Nelson via Westport to-morrow morning, arriving here on Sunday. She will sail for Wellington on Monday. The Kennedy is detained at Westport, the Hokitika bar being unfit to cross. The Australia, with the San Francisco mail, may be looked for at Auckland at any hour. The Hawea will remain at Onehunga until the arrival of the San Fraucisco mail. The Prospect lett Waitapu on Tuesday Bight, aud arrived last evening. She saw nothing of the missing boats, nor of auy of the steamers that have been in search of them. The schooner Nelson arrived at Wellington this morning with a load of timber f roui Waitapu, making a good round from Nelson to Waitapu and from there to Wellington in six days and a half. Captain Robinson reports experiencing heavy northerly winds in the Straits.
