The Wallace arrived at Wellington this morning, and will sail for Nelson to-morrow afternoon. The Kennedy left Westport for Nelson this afternoon. The Lyttelton left Greymouth for Nelson to-day, and mil sail for Blenheim on Tuesday. The Ringarooma arrived at WeUington at 10 o'clock last night, having made the run from wharf to wharf in eight hours. The cutter Midge arrived from Waitapu this morning with a cargo of produce. The Lady Barkly arrived from Motueka and Golden Bay this morning. The Awaroa has commenced loading, aud •will leave for Wanganui to-morrow. The cutter Maid of Italy arrived from Biwaka eariy this morning with a load of produce. The Ringarooma on her last trip from Melbourne to the Bluff made some capital running. The log book records that she ruu 290 and 294 miles respectively, and this under steam alone. The Hawea left Port Chalmers for Northern Ports yesterday afternoon, and may be looked for here on Sunday afternoon. She is under the command of Captain Kennedy for this trip, Captain Wheeler having obtained leave of absence. i The ketch Argus, bound from Waitapu for Kaiapoi with timber, put into Lyttelton on Monday last through stress of weather, i there being such a heavy sea running outside j the Heads that the little vessel was unable j to make any headway.
