The Kingarooma leaves Wellington tomorrow- I'afternoon,1 'afternoon, aud will arrive here late m the evening. She is advertised to sail for South and Melbourne at 1 p.m. on Thursday. The schooner Nelson will sail for Havelock -to-morrow morning, where she will load with timber for some Southern port. Mr Edwar,d Robinson, late chief officer of the Charles .Edward, is now in charge of her. We congratulate him on his appointment to the command of so fine a vessel, and hope that he wiil hansel his career as master by making a smart trip. The cuttei-.Dido met with quick despatch yestefcday. She commenced discharging in the inorning, finished in the afternoon, aud took- in a quantity of coal, sailing in the evening for Blenheim. While proceeding out of, the harbor the Dido touched lightly on the tail of the Boulder Bank, and remained fast; Every eildeavor was made to get her off, but without avail, and she had to be left until this afternoon, whan sue was got off, apparently without having sustained any damage, for she immediately proceeded on her course. We (Marlborough Press) are informed that a curious accident happened to the schooner Canterbury on Mouday at Havelock. She ran her nose into a mud bank at Culleu's Point, as she was leaving at high water, and there she stuck fast. As aoon as the tide ebbed she was observe* l to be on the incline of a" steep bank, down whieh she was perceptibly vaojitig- Her crew immediately took to th-*' boats, and had scarcely doue so, when.-"-"-* slid down the bank stern foremost at v_rsunk in deep water. Efforts are now neingtoade to float her, and, we hear, with some success.
