CRUSHING DEFEAT OF THE RUSSIANS IN ASIA. VICTORIOUS ADVANCE OF THE TURKS. Singapore, July 6. An official Turkish despatch reports a battle at Baia, Karlisha, on the 2nd instant, resulting in the complete defeat and almost annihilation of the enemy, and the capture of immense booty. The Russians have also been driven from their entrenchments at Kars. Mukhtar Pasha is within twelve miles of Kars and continues his victorious advance.
