Attention is called to Mr Augarde's -sale of house and land in New-street to-morrow. The brig Stair of the Mersey, which was . abandoned on Saturday last, the captain and crew having been brought on to Nelson in the Murrayj is now lyiug snugly in Wellington harbor, to which port she was towed by the Luna. The particulars of the state in which she wa3 found are contained in our Wellington telegrams. We understand that a full enquiry has been ordered by the Customs authorities, and will be held in the Court House on Monday next. Sedentary pursuits are enfeebling. Nature never intended us to sit in a doubled up posture half our lives, and accordingly she revenges herself upon those who do so by inflicting upon them indigestion, debility, and very frequently lumbago and kidney disease. Persons whose avocations keep them indoors, behind desk* and work-tables, can, however, counteract, in a great measure, the" ill effects of such confinement by the use of Udo&puo Wolfk's Schiedam Aromatic Schnapi'S.— Advt.
