The work of discharging the brig Transport is progressing rapidly, and she is now about half out. She will probably finish by Friday, after which she will take in ballast arid sail for Newcastle. She left Port Chalmers at 3 p.m. on Thursday, and arrived at •Lyttelton at 1 pm. on Fridays landed 60 tons of cargo, and sailed for Wellington at 330 p.m. on Saturday, arriving there oh Sunday at 1 p.m.; left at I p.m. yesterday, and jreached Picton at 5-30; sailed again at 7 .jMn., and arrived here as above. Thick N.E. ■weather was experienced to Lyttelton, thence head winds with nigh sea as far as Wellingiion, and moderate weather to Nelson. The : Hawea is full of cargo, and brings the last of the Margaret Galbraitb'a shipment, amounting to about 150 tons. She will sail for Northern Port 3to morrow at 3 p.m.
