Delegates are here from VVellington, Wanganui, Taranaki, Patea, and the Thames. Rinking commenced in the Choral Hall last evening. The nirth annual meeting of the Moanatairi was held to-day. There was a large attendance. The report showed that 10,770 tons have been crushed during the the year yielding 33,125 ounces, and realising £85,977' At the end of the previous year the company ; owed the Bank and other creditors £5588---this indebtedness has been paid off and the sum of £52,940 distributed in dividends, while a further sum of £4000 is invested as a reserve fund, leaving a balance in hand of £6818; nett profit for the year's transactions somewhat over £68,000. .The report was adopted, and £250 voted for the directors. ,;,.,. . Kaipara, Thursday. JMo tidings have been received of the Eliza Mary, wnich left Waitara on the 17th. No signs of the Aspasia. • The steamers Hinemoa and Durham, the brigantine Nightiugale, and the schooner Marimou are windbound at Auckland. A portion of a wreck has been found near Mangakaramea, one board having " Glimpse" thereon. The Glimpse is expected from Melbourne to load timber at Kaipara The captain of the Kate M'Gregor^ ashore ■at Waikato Heads, telegraphs that the cargo is dry, and there is a chance of floating the vessel off. , • ; . Blenheim, Friday. An important decision has been given in the Revision Court by District Judge Broad. He rules that the onus of the proof of disqualification lies with the objectors. Ten appeals have been lodged. •th __ • Chri stchcrch, Friday. Ibe tress this morning says, it is informed that, in consequence of information obtained by Captain M'Clatchie at the Bluff, the s.s. Gazelle is to be sent back without .delay to the Auckland Islands, and that Captain M'Clatchie intends forming A company on a small scale for the purpose of recovering the gold iv the wrecked ship General Grant. „, Dunedin, Friday. 1 he Customs revenue collected at the Port of Dunedin for the past month was £28,871, and for the corresponding month of last year £30,900. J During the month of May there were 58 deaths, 136 births, and 41 marriages registered in Dunedin.
