The schooner Waihopai finished discharging her cargo yesterday, and hauled on to the .cradle- near the Commercial Wharf for the purpose of being cleaned. Her next port of destination is Waitapu, where she will load with timber for Lytteiton. The schooner Richard and Mary" came into harbor last evening at low wate"r. She has beerC out in the late gales, and never once took but kept on her voyage the whole time. Captain Moore describes the weather he has experienced on the passage up as snmething fearful. The Richard and Mary hauled alongside Mr R. Levien's wharf this morning, and at once commenced discharging cargo. Very smart despatch has been accorded the schooner Zior. She hauled alongside the Commercial Wharf on Wednesday morning, and yesterday finished discharging cargo. Ballasting was at ouce commenced, and the Zior sailed out of harbor at high water this afternoon. There being very little wind the schooner had noi secured a very good offing to the time of our going to press. Her destination is Havelock, where she will load with timber for one of the Southern ports. The Phoebe, after numerous delays, took her departure for Sydney shortly after 11 o'clock "last night. The repairs -down the engine-room were effected at the Anchor Foundry, as was also the carpentering work. This', comprised the securing of the figurehead, which had been considerably loosened by the heavy sea which was experienced, and several other odds and ends. The staunch old steamer looked rather rusty on it, and a considerable improvement in her external appearance might have been made by the judicious application of a coat of paint before she went to sea. We wish Captain Kennedy a safe and speedy passage to Sydney. * ■'_..- t
