The Murray leaves G-reymouth to-morrow morning for Nelson via Westport with the outward San Francisco mail. The Charles Edward arrived at Westport this morning, at 7 o'clock after a smart run down. She reports that the Luna, Maori, and Lyttelton are lying there awaiting an improvement in the weather. The Maori and Lyttelton left here on Wednesday, and the latter has been lying for some time off Greymouth, where she lost an anchor and chain. The Wallace sailed for Wanganni yesterday afternoon, and arrived there this morning. She will sail for Wellington to-night. " The Wellington left Wellington this afternoon, will arrive to-morrow, and sail for the North in the evening. The Kennedy arrived from Wellington yesterday morning, and will sail for West Coast ports to-morrow afternoou. The Ringarooma leaves Melbourne for New Zealand with the Suez mail to-day. The Albiou sailed for South and Melbourne at 7-30 p.m. on Saturday, but up to the of our going to press her arrival had not been telegraphed. One or two coasters which have been detained through stress of weather will sail for their respective destinations this evening. A topsail schooner has been signalled all afternoon. It will probably be either the Zior from Timaru, or the Awaroa from Wanganui. The Arawata arrived at the Bluff from Melbourne on Saturday. She arrived at Port Chalmers yesterday, aud leaves that port for Lyttelton this afternoon. She will arrive here on Thursday, and sail for Melbourne aud South the same day, carrying the outward Suez mail. Among the arrivals in harbor on Saturday evening we noticed a smart looking cutter, painted white, which came to an anchor in stream. The Modest Boy, for such is the name of the vessel, has lately been built by Mr Huffam and Sons at Bark Bay, and is intended to run between that place and Nelsou. Thfe Modest Boy is a likely looking vessel, and registers about ten tons. The temporary repairs to the Taranaki were effected on Saturday afternoon, and she Bailed yesterday morning shortly after eight o'clock. It was at first intended that the Taranaki should call at Wellington, but afterwards her route was altered from Picton direct to Dunedin. This caused great inconvenience to a few passengers who were booked for Wellington, and whose luggage was on board, and had to be landed again. The Taranaki arrived at Picton at 4-30 p.m.] and probably sailed for Dunedin shortly afterwards.
