CABLE NEWS

[By Reuter's Submarine Cable.]

London, May 19. The resignation of the French Ministry was owing to a complaint by Macmahon that Jules Simon had left undefended the Conservative press laws which the Chamber had repealed. The right centre is now formed under tbe presidency of the Due De Brogiie. Due De cazes Minister of Fo'reigu affairs, and Bethaul, Minister of War, remain.
