As will be seen by our report of last night s dinner, the Caledonian Society's medals were then presented to Messrs A. Wilkie, W. Jones, and E. Parke;-, for their . bravery in saving life at tbe time of the recent Motueka flood The medals, which are of silver, are very handsome, the design being exceedingly neat and well executed. On the face are the arms of Scotland surmounted by a St; Andrew's Cross. On the : obverse, is a wreath qf laurel outside, of which are the words: -,«• Caledonian , Society, Province of
