Mr Mabin reports the sale of Colonial Bank shares at 41s. Messrs Sharp ard Pickering report a large attendance at the sale of Mr Barnard's property, Barn's Valley. The prices realised for stock were as follows : — Horses : Seven were sold at prices ranging from £4 to £11 5s ; Milch cows : Sixteen head sold in one lot at £7 10s per head ; Store cattle, mixed ages and sexes : Nine head brought £5 7s 6d each ; Sheep -. A small pen of Leicesters in very good condition brought 10s each. The bidding for the cattle was Tery spirited.
