May 2, ketch Prospect, 21, Westrupp, from Marahau. — cutter Dauntless, 12, Brett, from Adele Island. — ketch Standard, 10, Fletcher, from Moutere. — cutter Maid of Italy, 17, Clarke, from Riwaka. — ketch Lily of the Wave, 10, 'Emms, from Adele Island. SAILED. j May 2, schooner Awaroa, 60, Greagar, for Wanganui. — schooner Uno, 28, Kirk, for Torrent Bay.
The Kennedy arrived at Greymouth this morning, and will sail for Nelson via Westport on Friday. The Murray left Westport at noon to-day, will arrive to-morrow, and sail for Weilingto 1 on Friday. The Taranaki left Picton at 2 o'clock this afternoon, will arrive to-night, and sail for the North to-morrow at noon, carrying" the outgoing San Francisco mail. The Charles Edward will sail for West Coast ports at 2 p.m. to-morrow. The Arawata will arrive from Wellington to-morrow, and sail for Melbourne via South, with the outgoing Suez mail, the same day. - 1 The Lyttelton arrived at Blenheim this morning, and will sail for Wellington tonight. The Wallace sails for Wanganui this evening. The cutter Maid of Italy arrived this morning from Riwaka with a general cargo. The Lady Barkly will arrive from Golden Bay this evening, and make a trip to Motueka and back to-morrow, leaving here at 7*30 a.m., and Motueka on the return trip at 10 a.m. The Maori is telegraphed as having only arrived at Lyttelton at B*3o this morning. If this is correct she has been two days on the passage. The Pearl hauled off the gridiron this morning-, and was berthed alongside the Commercial Wharf. The cutter Dauntless and ketch Lily of the Wave arrived this morning from Adele Island 'with cargoes of stone for the harbor works.-.' ■ The Schooner Awaroa sailed for Wanganui at I p.rb. to-day with a light wind from the sea, against which she has made but little progressj and was not many miles away at the time of our.going to press. The _barque Ansdell hauled to the inner berth of the Commercial Wharf this morning, where she will discharge the remainder of her cargo, a portion of it having been taken to Wanganui by the Awaroa. The work of breaking out the engines and boiler qf tbe Result was cbmme iced this morning, ard. by dinner time the bridge had been takeii off her, and the smoke-stack unshipped and. landed on the wharf. Judging ' by the progress that was made this morning her owner intends to lose no time in getting her £.._.s up ready for sea again.
