Dunedin and Canterbury flour, £1G 10s; Adelaide, £18 to £19; oatmeal, £1G; pearl barley, £24; wheat, 5 s 9d to 6s; barley, 4s Gd; oats, 3s 8d; bran, £5 ; potatoes, £4 9s to £6; butter, Is; cheese, lOd. Mr Buckland reports as follows :— Beef, 23s to 26s per lOOlbs; fat sheep have improved £d per lb, fat wethers 3d, ewes 2£d. Bank Shares : Bank of New Zealand, £20; National Bank, GBs; Colonial Bank, 40s to 41s; National Insurance, 30s ; Moanatiris, £10 to £10 15s; Waitekauri, 16s to IGs 6d; Ivuranui, 26s to 27s 6d. At a meeting of Foresters the report stated that were 650 members on the roll, with funds to the amount of £850. Orangemen, to the number of eighty, had a banquet last night on unfurling the new flag. Arrangements are being made for the installation of Mr F, Whitaker as Provincial Grand Master, under the Scotch constitution. The Presbytery to-day resolved to adjourn - till the 16th May, to enable the Rev. Mr Hill's Thames congregation to be heard against his call from Lyttelton. Saturday. Wheat shipments to England are heavy, and the market very firm for prime quality.
