J_ AN. & Co.'s Improved Patent Refleotos GAS COOKING STOVES. These Stoves will Rov-t, Bake, Boil, Toast, and Broil, as shiwo, equal to the open fire, or kitchen range, aud are most convenient aud ecouoraisal, both in first cost and use, and, having no gas inside the oven, meet with general approbation. These Stoves have been put t) every possible test, and have given the greatest satisfaction. The oven above the roast_r ia constructed in such a manner that every particle ot heat is used. The oven is unde with a case or jacket, and the heat from the flamo over the roaster passes round the oven with a regular diffused heat, and the wa.te heat, after pasting round the oven ia brought in contact with the top hot plate, or uuder the saucepans on top so that all tbe heat from the gas is used. The ridgea on the hot plate are radiating froj. each burner on tbe top, which causes the flam, to spread over the whole of the bottoms of saucepans or kettles, and the burners are to constructed that no fat or water can drop into them— so objectionable in meet gat stoves. AU burners in this Stove are atmospheric. Bo Franzen, THE PORT, NHLSON. ll
