The purchasers of this valuable estate are Messrs Wharton and Hayter, of Nelson, and the price, paid was £63,000, ' Mr John R. Mabin reports the sale by auction to-day of the damaged portion of the cargo ex Argus, namely:— Potatoes, £3 per ton; wheat, 4s per bushel; flour, 12s 6d per 10'Olbs; bran, 5s per lOOlbs; barley, 3s 6d per bushel; oats, 2s.
