Speculation, Zamouri, Mountain Deer, and Rangatira also ran. Mamama won in a canter by two lengths. Time, 2mins 58f sees. Taranaki Cup, of 60sovs; 1£ miles. Opawa, 1; Elsa, 2; Perfume, 3. Bide a Wee and Resolution also ran. Opawa took the lead from the first, with Elsa close behind, and won hard held by a length. Time, 2 mius 13£ sees.
