Passengers for New Zealand: Mr and Mrs Lettiemaker and children, Mr and Mrs Nathan and daughter, Messrs H. W. Stratford, J. M'Kenzie, G. Buckley, A. Daboaridole, and M'Master. The exports for the mouth to New Zealand were £184,400. The Chrysolite colt is a very firm favorite for the St. Leger at 6to 4. Chester is first favorite for the Champagne Stakes, and Pride of the Hills for the Cup at 100 to 14. Blondin crossed the middle of the harbor on a rope privately on Thursday. His public performance was to have been to-day, but is likely to be postponed by the heavy rain. There is nothing new commercially. The steamer Thales arrived at Cooktown from Hong Kong yesterday with 500 Chinese. A case of supposed small-pox is on board.
