The Lyttelton leaves Wellington for NelBon to-day, will arrive to-morrow, and sail for Blenheim on Wednesday. . The Hawea left New Plymouth at eight o'clock this morning, will arrive to-night, and sail for the South by the same tide. No tidings have yet reached us of the San [Francisco mail. The Hawea, which has been awaiting its arrival all the week left Onehunga yesterday, and the Taranaki will be the next boat from that port. The Charles Edward will leave for West Coast ports to-morrow at 11 a.m. The Taupo will arrive from Southern ports to-morrow, and sail for the North at 11 a.m. on Monday. The Wallace left Wanganui to-day, will arrive to-morrow, and sail for West Coast ports on arrival of the San Francisco mail. The Murray will leave Hokitika on Monday for , Nelson via intervening ports with the outward portion of the San Francisco mail. The schooner Richard and Mary sailed for "Waitapu on Thursday evening for a cargo of timber. The cutter Maid of Italy this morning f rom Marahau with a cargo of timber, having left that placeiast evening. The B.s. Kennedy, A. Palmer commander, arrived from West Coast ports this morning at 7 o'clock. She report 3 leaving Nelson on Sunday last at 10 a.m., arriving at Westport at 6 a.m. on Monday; left at 9 a.m. for Hokitika, ; arriving there at 8 a.m. on Tuesday; sailed next morning, and arrived at Greyrao'ith by the same tide; sailed on Thursday for-Westport, arriving there at 7*30 p.m.; lef fc for Nelson at noon yesterday, and arrived here as above. Had fine weather throughout the trip. She sails for Wellington at 5 p.m. on Monday. The Amaranth, a smart looking fore-and aft schooner, Captain Campbell, arrived this morning from the Manukau, after a fair passage of five days. She left Ouehunga wharf on the morning on the 25th March, and crossed the bar at six o'clock in the evening. Light winds were experienced until yesterday, when it blew strong from the N.W., bat it did not last loug, and gradually veered round to the S.W., blowing light, which continued until arrival here. The Amaranth brings a cargo of 40,000 feet of timber consigned to Mr J. R. Mabm. She is berthed alongside the Commercial Wharf, and commenced discharging her cargo this afternoon. The barque Canny Scott, Captain Manson, arrived off the Lighthouse at ten o'clock last evening, and was towed into harbor by the Kennedy this morning and berthed alongside the Government Wharf. She is from Newcastle, which port she left on the morning of the 13th March. Light winds from S.E. to E.S.E. prevailed for the first three days, theuce light E.N.E. winds were experienced, which carried the vessel to within 100 miles of Cape Farewell, when it blew strong from the N.W. accompanied with rain. Rounded the Spit at 4 o'clock yesterday morning, and arrived here as above. Passed a large ship," flying light, when three days out from Newcastle, and a brig steering westward yesterday off the- Spit. The Canny Scott brings 522 tons coal consigned to Messrs N.
