These Stoves will Roast, Bake, Boil, Toast, and Broil, as shown, equal to the open fire, or kitchen range, and are most convenient and economical, both in first cost and use, and, having no gas inside the oven, meet with general approbation. These Stoves have beeh put to every possible test, and have given the greatest satisfaction. The oven above the roaster is constructed in such _ manner that every particle ol heat ia used. The oven is made with a case or jacket, and the heat from the flame over the roaster passes round the oven with a regular diffused heat, and the waste heat, after passing round the oven is brought in contact with the top hot plate, or under the saucepans on top ao that all the heat from the gas is used. The ridges on the hot plate are radiating from each burner on the top, which causes the flame to spread over the whole of the bottoms of saucepans or kettles, and the burners are aa construe ed that no tat or water can drop into them— so objectionable in moet gas stoves.
