Through unforeseen circumstances the vessel waa der , tamed at the outer anchorage longer than was expected, thereby . losing . a good chance to get away yesterday morning, when there was a fair wind blowing. Captain Cronin had some difficulty in getting together his crew, two of them having made tracks for the shore in the vessel's boat on Tuesday, afternoon last, and the ship's articles having been lost in Newcastle it was no use placing j the men in durance vile, and consequently they were allowed to get away free for the time. The captain afterwards paid one of them off ; the other was given into charge, but was let clear, and immediately afterwards served a summons upon Captain Croninr We wish the little vessel a safe and speedy, passage to Napier.
