In consequence of the; non-arrival of the Northern and Southern steamers the Wallace's departure for West Coast is postponed until to-morrowat noon The Taupo left New Plymouth early this morning, will, arrive to-night, and sail for the South by the same tide. , The Wellington will arrive to-night from Picton and South, and sail for the North by the same tide. The Murray .left Westporfc for Nelson at 3 p.m. to-day, will arrive to-morrow morning, and sail for Wellington on Friday. The Albion arrived at the Bluff last evening, and was to sail for Port Chalmers this afternoon. The cutters Planet and Maid of Italy arrived la9l. night from Motueka and Riwaka respectively with cargoes of produce. The'Lady Barkly sailed for Motueka and Golden Bay last evening. The Ringarooma leaves the Blaff to-morrow for Melbourne. The*Rotorua leaves Sydney to-morrow for New Zealand. She will make Auckland the first port of call, proceeding thence to Port Chalmers by way of the East Coast. The barquentine Mary Wadley still lies at the outer auehorage, but will probably make a start for Napier this evening. The cutter Margaret Scollay, which has been detained in consequence of one of the dredges requiring some blight repairs, will proceed on her oyster cruise either to-night or to-morrow morning early. The 'schooner May returned to port this morning after an absence of a fortnight. She left here with a full cargo for West Wanganui, but on arrival at that place the tides were found to be so low that the May •was not able to come within a long distance of the store, and consequently all of the cargo had to be carried on the backs of the crew to its destination, no light matter when it is considered that the distance was half a mile. She left there on Wednesday last, and arrived the same day at the Tata Islands, where she loaded with limestone, and came on to Nelson arriving here as above. Messrs M'Meckan, Blackwood, and Co.'s B.s. Tararua, W. Sinclair Commander, arrived ia barber at 12 o'clock last night. She left Sydney on the 14th inst. at 4 p.m., and experienced fine weather with light winds until arrival at Hokitika on the 19th at noon; left at 2 p.m. same day, and arrived at Greymouth at 4 p.m.; sailed for Nelson at 1 a.m. yesterday, and arrived off the Lighthouse at If "45 p.m. Experienced fine weather along the coast. We have to thank the purser, Mr Birch, for the report. There were no Sydney papers on board, those connected with the newspaper offices having, with their usual carelessness, neglected to forward files by the steamer. She sailed for Melbourne via South and Hobarton. shortly after noon to day.
