WOOL EXPORTS. . To the Editor op the 'Evening Ma.il.' Sir,— As you wish to see the statistics of Australian sheep-farming which I alluded to, I will submit them to you aa soon as they can be procured, brought down to. the latest date. In 1874 ! Victoria possessed between' eleven arid twelve millions of sheep, while New South Wales had upwards of twentytwo millions; and since that time the relative position of Victoria has become still worse.
