DISTRICT PRIZE FIRING.

The firing for the District Prizes by the members of the Naval Brigade took place at the Maitai Butts yesterday morning. There was a good attendance, and the firing was under the supervision of Lieut. Gull}'. The shooting was below the average, owing to the men not having had sufficient practice this year. The following are the scores: —
