I The Wellington left New Plymouth at "9 slock this morning, will arrive during the jht, and is advertised to sail for the South I p.m. to-morrow. The Wallace sailed last evening for Wannui, and arrived to-day. She will arrive re on Friday moruiug early, and sail for est Coast ports iu the afternoon. The Murray left Greymouth for Nelson t Westport to-day. She will arrive on iday, and sail for Wangauui and Wellinga on Saturday. The Charles Edward arrived at Westport ■day, and will sail for Hokitika to-night. The Taranaki leaves Wellington to-mor-w, and will arrive early on Friday. She Ices the outward San Francisco mail. The Ringarooma, with the Suez mail, was leave Melbourne to-day. The Lady Barkly • sailed on her usual ;ekly trip to Golden Bay last evening. The Melrose was this afternoon shifted to e inner berth at the Commercial Wharf in Jer to make room for the Wellington. The only arrivals among the coasters toy were the Maid of Italy from Riwaka th a cargo of fruit, and tho Three Brothers )m Moutere with a cargo of timber. The schooner Nelson arrived at Wellington yesterday morning with a cargo of grain from Timaru, having left that port on Friday last. A very short time will elapse before the Mary Watllcy is ready for active service judging by present indications. The three topmasts have been fitted, aud are, by the way, towering sticks, which give the vessel a very lofty appearaucc. The maintopmast is 44ft long, and the others iu proportion, so that the barqueatine is very tall rigged. The f oreyard is also an immense length being 48ft I long, and which is more adapted for a large ship than the miniature barquentine. The whole of the repairs will probably be effected by Saturday next, and early next week will see her on her way to Napier. The s.s. Kennedy, Captain Palmer, returned to port this morning at 6*30. She reports leaving Nelson with the 'Frisco mail on the 27th ult. at 6*15 p.m. for her round of the West Coast ports, arriving at Westport at 7 p.m. next day; discharged cargo, and left on the same tide for Greymouth; crossed the Grey bar at 9*30, and sailed on Friday for Hokitika, arriving there the same tide; sailed at 10 a.m. ou Saturday, arriving at Gjeymouth on the same tide; left at 2 p.m. on Monday, arriving at Westport at midnight; left for Nelson yesterday at noon, arriring here as above. Experienced moderate fine weather throughout. Passed tbe Charles' Edward this side of Cape Farewell at 11 o'clock last night; The Kennedy will sail for Wellington at 7 p.m.
