THE TADMOR GOLDFIELD.

Bi" Telegraph. [from a correspondent.] Fopiiill, Wednesday.Judge Broad, Mr Oliver, Mr Baddelcy, Mr Watkins, and Captain Cornwall, visited the Tactmor rush yesterday, and were kindly received by the miners, who gave them every information, and washed prospects for them. Iliggs add party obtained £30 worth of gold in four days for three men, aud three other claims are qu gooc} payable wash yielding from 30s to £2 a day. Gold has also been obtained iu a well hole some distance from the present lead. There is every indication of a good alluvial lead, but the miners deprecate a rush at present, as so very little prospecting has been done. All that can he said at present is that live or six claims are on good gold, and a payable prospect has been I obtained a mile away at the end of some timber land, through whioh the lead is supposed to run. There are about forty men on the ground all in good spirits. The laud is freehold, but the owner, Mr Hodgkinsou, allows occupation, at one pound per claim per man, an arrangement of which the miners quite approve. I^'_Ml__lll. „,,! |J.I , ■ IW |«. „...U.
