I London, February 25. The terms of a treaty of peace have been arranged between Servia and Turkey, the basis being status quo ante bellum and the evacuation of Servia in twelve days. The Servian House of Representatives have ratified the treaty, and Prince Milan receives a new firman. Montenegro is still treating with Turkey, and the armistice has been prolonged to 20th March. The rumors that the crossing of the Pruth by Russian forces was imminent are denied at St. Petersburg. The future movements of Russia depend upon the replies of the other Powers to the Russian circular respecting the results of the Stamboul Conference. A Times' telegram reports the intended de-moblization of the Russian army as incorrect. The Powers still delay replying to the Russi.n circular, being unwilling to agree to joint action or to countenance the iso'ated action of Russia. The Croatians refuse to send deputies to the Turkish Parliament. General Hayes has been returned by Oregon, aud has received the South .Carolina vote. March 3. The 'Frisco mails have arrived- at Crook Haven. . _ * The Pacific Steam Navigation Company intend despatching steamers via the Cape to Australia. At the wool sales this week, there was fair competition, and abont one-third of the stock to hand was sold,- foreigners taking the.: bulk ; home buyers operated cautiously.
