The Charles Edward arrived at Wellington early this morning. She will leave tomorrow, arrive here on Sunday, and sail for : West Coast ports on Monday. The Kennedy arrived at Hokitika to-day, and will leave on the return trip to-morrow, arriving here on Tuesday. The Murray sailed for West Coast ports this morning, and will bring back the outward San Francisco mail, arriving here on the Bth inst. The Wallace leaves Blenheim for Nelson to-night with a cargo of sheep. The schooner Awaroa sailed for Wanganui this morning. Owing to there being very - little wind all day she has- made but slow progress along the Bank, and at the time of par going to press was not many miles away. The Lady Barkly arrived from Motueka and Golden Bay this morning. The Alharabra entered the harbor last evening at 8-30, and was berthed alongside the Commercial Wharf. A gang of lumpers were at once put to work on board, and aided by the powerful steam winch of the steamer the cargo was soon taken out of her. She also shipped a quantity of cargo, and shortly before 11 o'clock took her departure for Melbourne and the South, arriving at Wellington at noon to-day. The Wellington sailed for ortherNn ports shorsly before 8 o'clock last evening, and arrived at New Plymouth at noon to-day. The barque Melrose is reported as having Bailed from Newcastle for this port on February 19th. •■ The, repairs to the Mary Wadley are being proceeded with vigorously. A new foretopmast has already been shipped, and some of the stanchions and part of the bulwarks have been fixed. The new galley is also nearly completed, and 'in a day or two the "doctor" will take possession of the caboose, and reign supreme once' more. Notwithstanding the smartness with which the repairs are beiug effected a week will elapse before the vessel is ready for sea.
