Experienced fine clear weather with light winds and calm sea throughout. The Albion has made a, -good run, having on this trip used Newcastle ' coai instead of the Buller coal, which she t has been using ever since she took np the Syiiney running, and which is much • inferior to the Newcastle coal. She sai's for Melbourne via Southern ports and Hobarton to-morrow at 10 a.m.. The barqiiebtihe Mary'Wadley, reported by us yesterday as having sustained severe damage" during a gale, still remains at the outer anchorage, awaiting orders. The vessel appears to' have been roughly handled, and on deck presents a most weird aspect. On February Bth she was struck by a severe squall, which took the fore and. maintopmast oufc of her, and also carried away the fore yard. A tremendous sea then set in, which threatened every moment to engulph the little vessel, ; but being a staunch boat she survived, though straining heavily aud shipping lar&e r quantities of water, which, found its way "down below, damaging the stores. Two or 'three lumps came' on board, carrying away the long boat and galley, and staving in the bulwarks in several places. The barqueritirie is very heavily laden, and the . wonder is how she contrived to keep afloat during so. heavy, a gale.
