Mr Mabuvrepor.ts that at the sale on the 16th inst., of household furniture, &c.,at the late residence of Mr Alex. Kerr, the attendance was not so good as expected, and bidding was 'languid. The following is a list of the prices for some pf the principal
articles :— Drawing. Room Suite, £20 16s; Piano,; by Russell, : £36; Music Stool, 275; Dining Table," £4 10s; Marble Top ' Coffee Table, 30s; Cheffonier, £6 6s; Horses, £10 and £11. On 1 7th he sold afc the Nelson Auction Robms Hooper's 1863 Port, bottled by Todd and Co., 30s; Scotch Whisky, by sanie bottler, 375; Pale Brandy, by same do., 57s to 60s per doz.; United Service Sauce, piuts, 14s 3d; half-pints, ,8s 3d; ; Louis , Renouf's Quart Champagne,' 35s 6d per case; same brand, pints, 43s per case; Tennent's Ale, qrts., lis to lis 6d per doz. The same day he held a sale of Tasmaniau produce, when shingles sold at 14s 6d to 16s 9d, 5 feet palings 12s 6d to 13s 6d, 5 feet do. 13s.
