Wellington, Friday. The Government have received from the Agent-General the following immigration advices by the San Francisco mail;—On

November 11, the Wiltshire sailed for Lyttelton with 282 souls; on November 28, Oxford, fo:Aucklard, with 239; on November 18, Loch Dee, for Otago, with 17, who were landed sick afc Weymouth from the Hurunui' on Nov. 20, Hurunui, from Plymouth with 170, 23 were landed at Plymouth and are to leave by the Caradoc for Lyttelton about the 7th of December. Thirty-one immigrants insisted on leaving the Hurunui. The following vessels are engaged to take immigrants: — Fernglen, for Hawkes Bay, December 6; Northampton, for Nelson, Wellington, and Westland. The above completes the Government requirement for the year; all advertisements have been withdrawn and the staff reduced. Saturday, 11*25 a.m. It rained heavily the greater part of last night, is raining still, ancl the weather is thick and unpromising. There is no likelihood of the English cricketers playing today, the Wellington not yet having arrived at Pieton. A proclamation in the Government Gazette issued to-day announces that the Forest Trees Planting Acts are to be brought into operation throughout the colony. The regulations of the Forest Trees Planting Acts are also published. Auckland, Friday. Mr Buckland reports that fat cattle average 26s per lOOlbs; fat sheep, 2hd to 3d per ib. Curtain's execution is fixed for Tuesday. Mr Wright's report of the city accounts seriously impugns the efficiency of the City Treasurer.
