The weather is reported bad throughout the colony, with heavy seas on the bars, and flooded rivers. The Kennedy sailed for West Coast ports last night shortly after the arrival of the "Wellington with the San Francisco mail. In consequence of the unpropitious state of the weather the sailing of the Wallace for "Wanganui has been postponed until 7 p.m. to-morrow. The' Charles Edward sailed for Wellington last night. The Taupo left Onehunga to-day, will arrive to-morrow night, a^ sail for the South on Monday. The Arawata will be due at the Bluff this evening or to-morrow morning. The ship Northampton sailed for Nelson With immigrants on the 20th Nove Tiber. The Taranaki arrived from Pieton and South this morning, and saileo. for the North by the same tide. The Wakatipu arrived at Sydney yesterday from' New Zealand. The Maid of Italy arrived yesterday evening from Riwaka with a cargo of p -oduce. The schooner signalled yesterday turned out to be the Awaroa from Wanganui, after a good run across. She arrived at the outer anchorage in the afternoon, and came into harbor last evening. The Urkion Company's s.s. Wellington showed up yesterday evening, and came into harbor, at 9*30. She left Onehunga on Tuesday, but on arrival at the Manukau Heads there was found to be such a heavy sea running on. ..the, bar that it was impossible to cross, ahd it was not until Thursday that she made her escape, arriving off Taranaki at daylight; after a short stay prcoeeded on to Nelson at 5 a.m., arriving here as above. Fine weather was experienced throughout. She sailed South at ll o'clock last evening.
