[Before L. Broad, Esq., R.M.] Aikew v. Doyle.— Action to recover £2 for rent of shop and cottage in Nile-st. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed and costs, to be paid in weekly instalments of 8s each. Franzen v. Borck.— Action to recover £8 7s 6d for goods supplied. Judgment for amount claimed and costs. Touet t. Molder.— Action to recover £5 12s Id for goods supplied. There was no appearance of defendant, and judgment was given for plaintiff for amount claimed and costs. Lloyd v. Williamson.— Action to recover £1 Is 3d for coal and wood supplied. Mr Fell appeared for the plaintiff. Defendant said that he and a man named Palmer had been living together, and shaving the expenses of housekeeping. They used to pay for wood and coal alternately, and he had on the occasion in question ordered it on Palmer's account, in whose name it had been entered in the books. He himsalf always dealt with Neale and Haddow. Hia Worship said of course the plaintiff knew nothing of any private arrangements that had been made between the defendant and another and, as he ordered the goods, he was responsible for the payment. Judgment accordingly. ' '
