It was resolved that the Com• modore, Vice-Commodore, Secretary^ and Mr parrard, should draw this 'afternoon for . the places of the various boats, and that the captains should call at the Committee Room
each morning to ascertain the places of their boats in each event. Mr Akersten reported that the Government Wharf had been repaired and was perfectly safe for 1500 people. A vote of thanks was accorded to him for his services. Dr. Sealey the Captain of the Nelson Rowing Club was requested to call v meeting of the Various crews now here j to'consider various -matters connected with ' boating. Mr Bunny; in consequence of his whole time being occupied with regatta business, resigned the Ball Secretaryship, which was undertaken by Mr Wymond. The Committee then adjourned until this evening.
