The members of the Naval brigade will meet for drill at their boat shed, the Port, on Friday evening at half -past seven, instead of this evening, A meeting of the Regatta Committee will be held iat the Trafalgar Hotel phis evening at the usual injur. Argus, in an article commenting, on the first meeting of the County Council, says- — We have another remark to make, and that is to warn the Council against allowing.the.importation of terms or styles of speech which, although . well fitted to aParliamentary Assembly, are quite out of place in a purely Municipal body.
