To the Editor of .the 'Evening Mail/ Sm,— Now _ that the Maitai is declared open," # may be well to remind intending fishermen that the government license gives them no right to fish excepting in those places where the river runs through Government property. Anyone wishing to fish for trout m ot^er pasta of the stream, must obtfti.n the x.e»ve of the riparian owners to go upon their lauds for the purpose.
