After the sitting of the Conference on Monday, Lord Salisbury visited Mishap Pasha, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and insisted that the interest of Turkey would be the acceptance of the proposals submitted by the Conference. Mishad Pasha expressed his willingness with regard jto pertain pointa, but absolutely rejected anything *j^t would be contrary to the dignity and integrity of the Turkish Empire. There has been a serious overflow of the Thames, and the rain-fall continues.
