The Murray arrived from West Coast ports last night, and will sail for Wellington at 7 o'clock this evening. The Lyttelton arrived from Blenheim this Afternoon. The .Charles Edward left Hokitika for Kelson via Greymouth and Westport this afternoon. She will arrive on Sunday, and sail for Wellington on Monday. The Wallace arrived at Wanganui this morning, and will sail for Nelson to-morrow with a cargo of horses and pigs consigned to Mr Mabin. . : The Kennedy's departure for West Coast ports is. postponed until to-morrow, when she will sail at 2 p.m. The. Taranaki left Manukau to-day, will arrive on Saturday, and sail for Picton and South the same* day. The brig Zephyr is daily expected from Hobarton with a general cargo consigned to Mr Mabin. " ! The Lady Barkly started on her, usual trip to Golden Bay last evening. Among the passengers were a -. large number of Maoris, who proceed to Collingwood to pay their, last respects to the body of the late chie£ Tamiti Marini. The cutter Midge arrived last evening from Waitapu. The schooner Waitohai is advertised to sail forJHavelock this evening. Thta Prospect sailed last evening for Waitapu. The Taupo has been making some good running down the coast with the San Francisco mail, having arrived at Port Chalmers at 7*15 this morning, being only 3 days 13| hours from the Manukau. The ship Northampton left London on the 10th of December with immigrants for Nelson. The Union, Company's s.s. Hawea, Captain Wheeler, came into harbor this morning at 1 1 o'clock. She left Port Chalmers on Saturday afternoon, and arrived at Lyttelton on Sunday morning; left on Tuesday at I p.m., arriving in Wellington yesterday morning; sailed for Picton at 2-30 p.m., arriving there at 7 p.m.; left for Nelson at midnight, arriving here as above. She sails North at 10 o'clock this evening.
