Ail entries to close on thu 13th of January, at ths Trafalgar Hotel, Nelsou, at 8 p.m. Coasters not In harbor on day ot Regatta will have entry money returned. All coasters' centre boards to be sealed by starter. No allowance of time for tonnage. Races Nos. 2, 5, 10, and 12 are champion races, aud must be competed ior by crews of ' two or more provinces. No first prize will be givea unless two boats start, anl no second unless three. All protests must be made in writing, and , sigaed by the person protesting, and lodged witu the Secretary before 7 o'clock in the evening of the day on which the Bace was . won, together witu a sum of money at the rate ot 5 per cent on iho first prize.
