Entrance money, 5 per cent on first prize. Ad entries to close on the 13th of January, at the traialgar Hotel, Nelson, at 8 p.m. Coasters nut in. harbor on day of Regatta will have entry money returned. All coasters' centre boards to be sealed by starter. No allowance of time tor tonnage. Races Nos. 2, 5, 10, and 1 2 are champion races, and muat bei competed for by crews of two or more provinces. No first prize will be given unless two boats start, and no second unless three. All protests must be made in writing, and signed by the person protesting, and lodged with the Secretary before 7 o'clock in the eveuing of the dey on which the Race was won, together with a sum of money at the ratu ot 5 per cent on the first prize. All protests to be referred to the mailing Committee; their decision to be final. Should the Committee coutider any protest to be frivolous or vexation*, the money deposited to he forieited.
